Green Apple Gouda Omelette
This easy, gourmet omelette is perfect for meal prep, healthy eating, and anyone looking for a new way to enjoy eggs with low-carb, high-protein benefits.

Ingredients Needed
To make this delicious Sausage and Green Apple Gouda Omelette you will need just a few simple ingredients including:

- EGGS
- GROUND SAUSAGE (I like to use Italian Sausage)
- GREEN APPLE (Cut into thin slices)
- BUTTER (KerryGold Garlic and Herb is seriously the BEST)
- SALT & PEPPER
Omelette Directions
Making a delicious omelette is simple and quick. This omelette can be made inside in a regular pan.
It’s also one of my favorite Blackstone Griddle Recipes to make in the summer.
FIRST, Prep the omelette by whisking eggs together in a bowl and adding a pinch of salt, and a dash of pepper.
Then cut the Gouda Cheese into small cubes, the Green Apple into thin slices and cook the ground sausage in a skillet.
NEXT, Heat a nonstick skillet or your griddle over medium heat and add a little butter or oil to prevent sticking.
THEN, Pour in the egg mixture, let it set just slightly, then gently drag a spatula across the pan to let uncooked egg flow underneath.
Once the omelette starts to firm, add your Gouda Cheese, Cooked Sausage and Green Apple Slices.
FINALLY, Fold the omelette in half, cook for another minute or two, then slide it onto a plate.
Tip: Don’t overfill your omelette, and keep the heat moderate so your omelette cooks evenly without browning or burning.
