In this protein powder recipe, I have used both vanilla and salted caramel flavored protein powder. Both are delicious, but my favorite is definitely the QUEST SALTED CARAMEL.

I must say that this protein powder recipe is nothing short of amazing. It is my husband’s very favorite healthy dessert that I make for him.

This protein powder recipe is very refreshing and is perfect for just about anytime during the day. These protein shakes can be whipped up in minutes and can be made with regular or decaf coffee cubes.

This homemade protein powder recipe is seriously THE BOMB! These bombs are low-sugar, low-carb, and packed with plenty of healthy fats and protein. Oh, and they are beyond delicious too. I love ending my eating window with 1-2 of these yummy fat bombs. It truly helps me fast easier and way longer into the next day.

I probably should have listed this protein powder recipe as my number 1 on this list. I started making this dessert when I started out on my weight loss journey in January of 2021. This healthy and delicious dessert absolutely helped me lose 46 pounds in 4 months.

I have been eating this dessert for almost three years now. As you can see from the photo above, I often top my protein yogurt dessert with fresh berries, LILYS BAKING CHIPS or a few regular chocolate chips and some delicious LOW SUGAR KETO GRANOLA (Blueberry Cinnamon).

The chocolate chips give this dessert just the right amount of sweetness to satisfy just about anybody’s sweet tooth. Additionally, flax seeds and chia seeds make great additions to this dessert, as well.

6. Blackberry Vanilla Protein Powder Smoothie Recipe

This awesome protein powder smoothie recipe not only tastes amazing, but the blackberries help blast some serious belly fat too. This protein smoothie is refreshing and quenches your thirst while satisfying your sweet tooth in such a healthy way. The coconut oil in this protein drink is an excellent way to get a nutritious dose of healthy fats.

If you are in the mood for some extra chocolate flavoring, cocoa powder or cacao powder are always great additions. Feel free to use coconut flour in place of the almond flour if you wish. I also love to top mine with some whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. YUM!

8. Salted Caramel Macadamia Nut Butter

Whether you are dipping apple slices or celery sticks in it, this easy to make, homemade nut butter is one of the healthiest protein snacks ever and can be made in less than five minutes. Between the protein powder and the macadamia nuts, the protein content is truly off the charts. The nutty flavor and natural sweetness of this favorite recipe instantly satisfies my taste buds.

Which Protein Powder Should I Use?

You may have noticed that I didn’t list how much protein is found in each protein powder recipe above and that is because these recipes are versatile and you should feel free to use the protein powder that you love the most. These high protein desserts and meal replacement recipes are delicious when they are made with flavored or unflavored protein powder, as well as whey protein powder, plant-based protein powder, or even vegan protein powder. 

Why I Think QUEST is the BEST!

I, however, almost always use “QUEST” PROTEIN POWDER because it is my personal favorite. And the Salted Caramel flavor is definitely my favorite protein powder and absolutely one of my VERY FAVORITE WEIGHT LOSS PRODUCTS. I love Quest for so many reasons. I think Quest has the best protein powders because they pack HUGE AMOUNTS OF PROTEIN per serving (like 26 grams of protein per scoop).
