Italian Sausage Veggie Skillet
Ingredients Needed
- 1 Tablespoon Healthy Cooking Oil (Olive Oil or I also like to sometimes use Ghee)
- Italian Ground Sausage (1 Pound)
- 1 Handful of Chopped Green Onions
- A Couple Shakes of Each (Garlic Salt and Italian Seasoning)
- 1 Cup Chopped Broccoli
- 1 Cup Pepper Strips
- 1 Cup Sliced Fresh Mushrooms
- Cheese of Choice (About 1 Cup)
- Low Carb/Low Sugar Marinara Sauce (I like Rao’s Brand)
- Parmesan Cheese
Directions
FIRST, add 1 Tablespoon oil to a skillet on medium heat. Add ground sausage and a handful of chopped green onions.
Season with garlic salt and Italian seasoning and cook for 4-6 minutes or until sausage is cooked through.
NEXT, add broccoli, pepper strips, and mushrooms to skillet. Cook for 5-6 more minutes.
Add about 1 Cup of Cheese of your choice and stir in well until blended.
FINALLY, add in marinara sauce and stir well. Remove from heat and sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese. ENJOY!
